Westchester County is home to many of the best things that Upstate New York has to offer. If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy breathtaking views, world-class shopping, and exceptional theater, look no further than Westchester.

Below are some of the things about Westchester that make it so great:

The Hudson River provides stunning vistas from almost anywhere in the county. From Millwood to White Plains and beyond, there are plenty of places where you can take your family or friends out on a weekend afternoon for some relaxation time along one of the most picturesque rivers in America.

There are many golf courses throughout Westchester County—from small public courses with affordable greens fees designed for beginners all the way up through private clubs where even Tiger Woods would feel comfortable teeing off (or so we hear). For those who don't play golf but love being around it anyway (we know there's at least one person out there), check out any number of country clubs open to visitors as well!

Westchester County is an easy place to live with a charming feel.

Westchester County is an easy place to live with a charming village feel. Our villages are small enough to get around easily, but large enough to have all the amenities you need. Plus, there's plenty of parking and less traffic than in New York City or upstate.

Westchester County is a great place to raise a family.  Westchester also offers many community activities for kids. There's even a kids' version of the New York Times called "The Daily Kiddie," where your child can learn about current events from the comfort of their own home! The community works hard to make kids feel included as valued members of Westchester.

You don't have to look further than Katonah Museum of Art to see what it has in store.

The Katonah Museum of Art is a great place to start if you want to take in all that Westchester County has to offer. The museum has an interesting collection of art, and it's located in Katonah, New York, which is just north of New York City. You can visit the museum any time, as it's open year round (closed on Mondays). The museum also has a gift shop and cafe if you need anything while exploring the exhibits or having lunch with friends. If you're looking for something special to do while visiting Westchester County or nearby areas such as New York City or Long Island, then check out what this museum has in store!

Moving to Westchester County is a great choice for anyone

If you're looking for a great place to live, raise your family, or start a business, Westchester County is the place for you. The community works hard to shop locally so that we can keep small businesses in our community.

Upstate New York

Upstate New York is a great place to live. Families love the many sprawling parks, schools and churches here. And there are jobs in every industry, from tech startups to healthcare.

You'll love Upstate N.Y.'s entertainment scene: there are countless festivals every year, from food-focused events like Taste of Syracuse to music festivals like Oneida County Fair.

You will also appreciate the quality of life: upstate N.Y.'s medical facilities are rated highly among national standards; plus it's close enough for easy travel downstate for visits, shopping trips, or broadway!

Craft fairs, music festivals, and farmers markets

There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors all around Westchester County. From craft fairs to music festivals and farmers markets, there's something for everyone in this area.

Whether you're looking for a place to get away from the city or want an excuse to explore Westchester County with family and friends, these outdoor events are a great way to meet new people and try new things.

If you're interested in these types of activities, don't worry—you won’t be alone! There are plenty of residents who love going out on weekends too!

Four beautiful seasons

You will love the four beautiful seasons in Westchester County. The summers are not too hot, and winters are not too cold. In the spring and fall, you will enjoy walking through the many parks to see all of the flowers blooming or watching children play on a playground before going inside for lunch.

The air is clean and fresh here; you can smell flowers blooming everywhere you go! There are so many different kinds of trees that provide shade from the sun during hot summer days, but also give warmth during cold winter nights by keeping people warm at night (they're called firewood).

In Westchester County there are plenty of places where families can go together; there's something fun for everyone!

The Great Outdoors

If you love being outdoors, Westchester County has a lot to offer. There are many beautiful parks and hiking trails in the area, including Bear Mountain State Park and Harriman State Park. The Taconic State Parkway is another great place to take a scenic drive through the Catskill Mountains.

Katonah Museum of Art

The Katonah Museum of Art is a museum of contemporary art located in Katonah, New York. It is one of the largest museums in Westchester County and was established in 1969 as the first museum to focus on American art. The museum has more than 100 works by members of The Eight, which includes Edward Hopper and Georgia O'Keeffe.

The collection includes paintings from 1900-1950. Some artists represented are Norman Rockwell, Henry Fitch Taylor, John Marin and Grandma Moses. It is a member of American Association of Museums (AAM) and National Council on Public History (NCPH).

Bedford Village Historic District

The Bedford Village Historic District is a National Historic Landmark District that encompasses the village of Bedford Falls. The town was originally known as Bedford Falls, but changed its name to avoid confusion with a fictional town in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life." It's easy to see why the filmmakers chose this setting for their film: It has gorgeous views of the Hudson River and rolling hills, making it a popular destination for hikers and cyclists alike. It's also home to some beautiful historic buildings built in Colonial Revival and Greek Revival styles, including an old brick courthouse where George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart) had his courtroom scene with Henry F. Potter (Lionel Barrymore).

The most notable building within this historic district is the church where George Bailey marries Mary Hatch (Donna Reed). The church was actually built on location during filming so that it would match up with locations back at Paramount Studios; today it remains one of Bedford Village’s most visited landmarks!
