Let 2023 be the year you move to upstate New York. So, why do people move to Upstate New York, specifically? In the Upstate region of the state, walkable parks are basically the residents' backyards. The state also has endless events for locals. whether you're a museum lover, foodie, or outdoor person.
With Westchester County's proximity to Manhattan, you can enjoy all that New York City has to offer without having to live there. Westchester is just minutes away from the major transportation hubs in New York City and Long Island. There are also a number of airports in the area including LaGuardia Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport and Stewart International Airport which means people who live in Westchester can easily travel back and forth between their homes and their jobs in Manhattan or other parts of New York State (and beyond).
